What I’m Watching: The Menu (2022)

Synopsis: “A young couple travels to a remote island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises.”

My take: Satire that seems wonderfully absurd and even familiar until the horror element is dropped on the victims. Suspenseful. At times, funny. Incredibly frightening. 

Performances by Ralph Fiennes and Hong Chau are…killer. This film will make you lose your appetite.
