“The Art of the Query”

A benefit of the proliferation of post-pandemic virtual conferencing is that I get to meet people all over the country and world with whom I would otherwise never cross paths.

I had a blast presenting “The Art of the Query” at the 2023 Seahawk Writing Conference, a virtual Broward College SpringFest event.

Students and I discussed the necessary parts of creating a successful query and submission packet, as well as figuring out where and how to submit. I was impressed by their query letter drafts, as well as by the quality of their questions.
