What I’m Watching: Landlocked (2021)

Synopsis: “Summoned to his soon-to-be demolished childhood home, Mason discovers a video camera that can see into the past, driving him to record as many memories as possible before the doomed house is destroyed.”

My take: Perhaps it's because I lost my father in my twenties, but this film is painful to watch and tense. It is atmospheric and at times creepy. A few things are left unanswered, but the yearning for the past and the grief that comes with remembering cherished moments with lost loved ones is the most horrific part, and it will stay with me.
