What I’m Reading: The Eyes Are the Best Part by Monika Kim

Synopsis: “Crying in H-Mart meets My Sister, the Serial Killer in this feminist psychological horror about the making of a female serial killer from a Korean-American perspective..”

My take: This text is everything a horror book should be. Propulsive, violent, gross, and brilliant in its commentary. I am cheering for Ji-won right to the brutal end.
