Review: “Mannequin Model”

I'm always grateful to learn of a review of my work, especially one of my short pieces.

Check out P.M. Raymond’s take on "Mannequin Model," the story that inspired both the title of and cover art for my collection.

The tale first appeared in Glass Mountain, a literary journal that published the story with “New Yolk City,” the above digital illustration by artist Estefania Garcia.

Juxtaposed with the below cover for the collection, it’s interesting to see how one story can inspire two completely different visual interpretations.

From the review:

"...MANNEQUIN MODEL combines a magical realism aesthetic and grounded style that makes the story feel present-day and otherworldly at the same time."
